Rename images

PhotoWatermark Professional employs a very robust technique for renaming files. The rename template can include sequence number, date time picture taken in various format, any EXIF or IPTC tags. Date and time picture taken in the rename template uses standard date and time format string.

Here are some examples:

·	If you want to number your files in format of 00x, specify a template of ###

·	If you want to number your files with a prefix "Vic" and 0x, specify "Vic"##. You must enclose "c" in double quotes since c will be replaced by date and time if not.

·	Lets see you have 2000 files taken in a year and you want to number them with the year and number, you can specify yyyy_####. This will be replaced by 2004_0001 to whatever number of pictures you have.

·	If you want to name your files using date and time, you could specify yymmdd_hhnnss, which will be something like 040125_123248.

·	The formats are virtually unlimited. You should safely play with it.
